A forum for Healers and Seekers
For most people, it is quite difficult to remain in the now. The mind is either thinking of what happened in the past or what could happen in the future. As a result, we are hardly available in the now.
It is only during times of acute crisis or in a meditative space, people learn to be in the now.
It is quite possible to cultivate your mind to be still and focused in the now rather than worrying and anticipating future outcomes.
You do not need an acute crisis; nor do you need to go to the Himalayas or do a prolonged meditative practice.
Simply be present to your thoughts. Do not escape them. Do not reject them or resist them. Just acknowledge and recognise them. As you become a neutral observer to your thoughts, you will invariably calm down and bring all your thoughts and energies in the now.
